you're a grab bag of gems
best links from 2025, part one

gm and welcome issue 45. It’s going to be a quick one—thanks for being here. 🏴☠️
After weeks of pulling teeth, knocking on doors, cold emailing, validation pivoting, and some poolside dance-rest in Mexico, I'm *kinda* taking this week off. No long essay about building or limbo or why vibe coding is cool but only the jump point. Just me, some time with the fam, and a break from the keyboard.
But I wouldn't leave you empty-handed. Below are some of the best links I've come across this year—things about creativity, building, hustling smarter, and some grab bag gems that may or may not wrangle your interest. Consider them part one of my 2025 favorites.

By now you should know that I only feature ads if/when I find them at least somewhat cool or useful. Today’s ad is about learning to play the piano, which is v fucking cool so I’m sharing it here. Good luck finding your Für Elise fingers.
Find inner peace at the piano with flowkey
Learn to play the songs that make you happy – whatever your level. flowkey gives you all you need to learn at your own pace: step-by-step courses, interactive practice tools, instant feedback, and thousands of beautiful pieces from all genres.

On Creativity + Making (and marketing)
Zora Zine — Nerdy, creative, and v onchain. I’ve for sure referenced this crystal ball before.
Seth Godin’s Top 100 — Seth’s favorite posts (from his own blog). Mostly about showing up and doing the work, even when it feels pointless.
Es Devlin — Just… explore her art. Period.
Grab Bag Gems
Brain Pickings (The Marginalian) — Maria Popova's weekly newsletter on art, science, philosophy, and what it means to live well.
Poolsuite.net — One of my favorite places on the internet. Just vibes.
1MILLION Dance Studio — Seoul-based dance studio posting incredible choreo. Movement as art.
Obsidian — For networked thinking and connecting ideas. Where your best thoughts live? Maybe—I just downloaded the free version.
Steezy Studio — While this one is a dope-ass dance app you need to pay for, it is not an affiliate link (none of these are). I started using Steezy (choreo, dance workouts, fundamentals of new-to-me dance genres) during the Pandemic and haven’t looked back since. Highly recommend.

That's it for this week. More links coming in part two.
See you in next Tuesday, nerds. 🖤
PS: Subscribe now if you're into this messy build-in-public energy. Miss the last issue? It’s right here. Also literally none of this is ever advice. I’m sharing what I learn through Babe, and perhaps you’ll learn from my mistakes. Hopefully, maybe, who knows, ily. Also if you’re not already, come hang with Babe on insta, Farcaster, and TBA 🟦.
